Crew, HOME's youth service group, planned and executed a car wash
fundraiser on August 8th, 2012. Using donated supplies and space from
Salem's First Christian Church, youth waved signs and scrubbed cars for
more than three hours! The car wash was free but many patrons made
donations which totaled to $113! Crew decided to donate 50% of the
donated funds to the Mid-Valley Women's Crisis Service. The rest of the
donations will help Crew purchase supplies for future service projects.
Great job to Crew for completing a great service project. And a big
thank you to First Christian Church for making the fundraiser possible.
